Description

Angy Care Health Foundation is a UK-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of older adults in local communities, including Kent. We support residents by addressing age-related health challenges, preventing isolation and poverty and promoting overall well-being. Our services include providing medical aids, running a food bank, offering counselling, organising social and recreational activities and facilitating digital inclusion through our online hub. By combining practical assistance with emotional and social support, we empower older adults to live with dignity, independence and a strong sense of community.

Description

Via Refer Kent, KCF is looking to connect with professionals in the county who support individuals and families. KCF has three funds that can offer grants to individuals and families. Our grants focus on funding: - respite activities for young carers - respite activities for adult carers taking care of another adult and - equipment for young people with disabilities, long-term illnesses and/or life limiting conditions, where the equipment benefits their mental and physical health. General criteria for our grants: the individual must live in Kent or Medway, be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage and items / services cannot be for something that local/national authorities have a statutory duty to provide. More info here about our grants and their criteria can be found on our website. If you contact KCF via Refer Kent, about an individual or family you think could benefit from one of our grants, you will still have to complete our nomination form. We cannot accept any nominations directly from the beneficiary or their family and friends. (KCF is not accepting referrals via Refer Kent for our grants to organisations. To apply for funding for organisations, visit KCF's website: https://kentcf.org.uk/funding.)
