Palladium is the Prime provider of the Refugee Employability Programme (REP) in the Southeast of England - including Kent & Medway. REP’s mission is to enable refugees to integrate within their local communities; secure high quality and sustainable employment; gain ESOL foundations and access local support. Through REP, refugees receive tailored support from a dedicated Case Manager to address barriers to employment, get ready for the UK job market, develop confidence and job-seeking skills and ultimately find sustainable employment, during which we continue to help for up to three months. Thanks to a co-developed personal development plan and regular 1-1 meetings, refugees are supported to apply for work, prepare for interviews and access ESOL, training or vocational courses to succeed in life. Additionally, our locally based and dedicated team provides tailored advocacy and assistance to promote refugees integration by connecting them with local support services and community organisations. Beam supports individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness into employment and private rented sector housing. Beam partners with Maidstone Borouh Council to remove the financial barriers that prevent service users from starting work (such as childcare, travel costs, and tech) and accessing the private rented sector (first month's rent, deposit, and a moving van.) They also provide wraparound caseworker support, empowering service users to find and secure their own jobs and properties. Every service user who finds a new home through Beam will receive 9 months of sustainment support from Beam's expert sustainment team.
